Google refreshes it's mobile search, announces search by image and voice search for desktop.

In order to make mobile search easy, fast and efficient, Google announced two new features for mobile search. The first being the search for the places around you by introducing new shortcuts to commonly searched local categories, like restaurants, coffee shops and bars, in the form of icons on the mobile google homepage.

Soon we may gonna see change in twitter policy which may be like monopoly thing. Twitter had suggested the apps developer to stop making an apps accessing to twitter. Twitter Inc wants their official app to be gateway to access twitter.

The move is widely seen as an attempt by Twitter to take control of the service to boost ad revenues and improve commercialisation.

As we now know that Nokia, the leader in phone market who is facing tough times in holding its market place, join hands with Microsoft's Windows 7 Mobile, expects to increase hold on phone market.

Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google said, Google tried hard to win Nokia over to its Android mobile platform before Nokia decided to throw its lot in with Microsoft.

At MWC 2011, Google's CEO Eric Schmidt declares Android as the Market Leader.

At Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, most of the Buzz is on HTC and Android. This year, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, hundreds of Android-powered devices were on show.

Google's chief executive Eric Schmidt declared his company's platform to be the market leader.

"It is the fastest growing mobile ecosystem," he told delegates.

Mr Schmidt said that 300,000 Android-based phones are being activated each day, and more than 170 Android compatible devices are on the market.

Google will make ICE CREAM with Ginger and Honey.

At Barcelona, MWC '11, info regarding the next version of Android was made by Google’s CEO Eric Schnidt.

At Mobile World Congress(MWC) 2011, Eric told delegates that they are going to combine both Honeycomb with Gingerbread to form Ice Cream, the next android version after Honeycomb.

Few days more for the Android v3.0, good news for the Tab's makers.


Android v3.0, optimized for Tab generation may be out open in less than 3 days i.e., may be Feb 2. Earlier, Google released the preview SDK for Android 3.0 developers.

Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha said, the Honeycomb may be coming at the end of February or in early March (if things went bad). Remember??? Motorola XOOM, the first tablet that will feature the Honeycomb showed us how Honeycomb will look like.

Android Data Stealing Vulnerability discovered.

Is your android not yet ready to protect your phone data ??? Yes, according to revelation by a security researcher. One researcher found out a way to exploit a loop hole to bypass into your phone and that can be used to steal data.

Xuxian Jiang, an assistant professor at North Carolina State University, discovered the bug while working on what he described as an Android-related project. The flaw, he wrote in an advisory, impacts Android 2.3 and is of the same nature as a vulnerability uncovered last year by researcher Thomas Cannon on Android 2.2.

The glitch in Android OS which got noticed last year will soon be fixed, says Google.

This bug mistakenly sends text messages to the wrong people(random contact from your mobile).

According to the company, a small portion of android devices is a victim of this glitch.

At CES, Vegas, Parrot unveiled a pair of devices named, the Parrot Asteroid, and the Parrot Asteroid Touch.

Mobile manufacture predicts Android powered smartphones may available for as low as Rs. 5000($110) by march in India

One of leading mobile maker from India, Zen Mobile said that prices of android-based mobile phones could come down by March this year.

They said some indication shows that android-based phones will come to below Rs 5,000 by March this year and then(Zen) are planning to launch the product in this(android) category.
