Soon we may gonna see change in twitter policy which may be like monopoly thing. Twitter had suggested the apps developer to stop making an apps accessing to twitter. Twitter Inc wants their official app to be gateway to access twitter.

The move is widely seen as an attempt by Twitter to take control of the service to boost ad revenues and improve commercialisation.

Sony Playstation app for android coming soon.

Sony, makers of gaming console Playstation, is going to launch free iPhone and Android apps for Playstation likely to be at early 2011.

According to the company, the first versions of the apps will come to the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and The Netherlands, with more countries expected soon.

HTML5 and Flash are the two major addition for the coming Opera browser for Android.

According to Opera team member Pavel Studen blog post, next version of opera browser for android will accommodate two major features playing HTML5 video and other being Adobe Flash Player plug-in.

"New Web technologies aim to replace it, but Flash will be around for some time. If you have Flash player installed on your phone, Opera will support it," said mobile team member Pavel Studen in a blog post.

Opera Mobile browser for Android is still in beta so lot more work is to be done, written in the C++ language, not the Java as major other app does.

Android app that lets you trace friend's pinpoint location.

"Studies have shown that 'Where are you?' is the single most commonly sent SMS," said doctoral student Matthew Kwan from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University's school of mathematical and geospatial sciences in Australia.

Techies have developed a method for embedding Global Positioning System coordinates in an SMS message.

The technique, known as geotagging, can transmit a mobile phone's position.

It works by placing location identifiers in the text, for example - I'm at the pub geo:-37.801631,144.980294.

Electronic Arts CFO says to concentrate on Android Mobile Gaming Platfrom on Big Time

Realizing the momentum the android is moving forward, EA's CFO Eric Brown made the following statements the Deutsche Bank 2010 Technology Conference. He said: “There’s a lot to happen in the future in Android, and we’re trying to position our mobile business to take advantage of that trend.”

Mr. Brown went on citing numbers – Android is expected to grab 25% of the smartphone market by 2014, compared to Apple’s 11%. “I think the next big positive wave to push better growth in mobile will be the deployment of an App Store equivalent for the Android operating system,” he added.

He commented on the growing smartphone adoption among consumers, comparing it to the PlayStation evolution – it’s “like going through a PS2 to PS3 transition.”

Google Voice Action for iPhone Most Likely to get nod for App Store.


Sean Kovacs, developer of GV Mobile, was encouraged by Apple to resubmit his application to the app store.

According to Kovacs, the new rules and terms for the app approval process showed no signs of keeping his GV Mobile app from getting approved.

Additionally, Kovacs said that he would work on making the app free, and that he was working with Apple to get GV Mobile back under its original name so he wouldn’t have to call it anything else.

The most popular e-book reader Barnes & Noble Nook has come up with an updates to give enhanced experience to user.


The following updates can be found in the new software:
