Finally T-Mobile USA Inc. had announced Thursday the release of the G2, exciting Android Lovers.
The T-Mobile G2 is T-Mobile's first HSPA+ device and the successor to the first Android phone T-Mobile G1, that was released in October 2008.
"With the launch of the T-Mobile G2, we are re-teaming with our partners at Google and HTC to provide T-Mobile customers with another first — the first Android smartphone designed to deliver 4G speeds on our new network,” said Cole Brodman, chief technology and innovation officer at T-Mobile USA.
The G2 Vivid 3.7-inch screen TFT capacitive touchscreen, a full QWERTY keyboard, 4GB internal memory with a pre-installed 8GB micro SD card (it can support up to 32GB of external memory), Bluetooth connectivity, and is Adobe Flash Player-enabled .Pre-loaded with Froyo, G2 has Qualcomm MSM 7230 800 MHz processor, can record 720p with its 5 Mega Pixel camera.
T-Mobile says, this smart phone was designed for the T-Mobile HSPA+ mobile broadband network.
T-Mobile customers are expected to be able to pre-order the highly anticipated mobile phone by the end of this month, a statement by the mobile phone service said. The phone is also available for pre-order at Best Buy today at a $199 starting price tag.
