Google worries about decline in Internet Freedom and rise in information censorship.

(CNN) Google had come with new tool which tell the user that which country had suppressed or requested for the censorship. The tool called Google Transparency, the online report shows that internet censorship around the world is increasing over time, and not always in the countries you'd expect, said Dorothy Chou, a Google policy analyst who worked on the project.

"The threat to internet freedom has actually been growing over the past few years," she said, noting that the United States generally bucks that trend by supporting open online communication.

Google Transparency includes an interactive map where users can see how many requests countries have made for Google to block or remove content.

This online tool also lets users explore internet up-time in specific countries for specific Google-owned websites.

According to WSJ post, Samsung is launching its Galaxy Tab with Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and AT&T  since negotiation with them had gone well. But we don't see the T-Mobile. Many say that Samsung Galaxy Tab can give tough competition to apples iPad. The Android tablet when it becomes available next month.

Pricing on the tablet is still a source of contention with off-contract costs possibly soaring as high as $1000. Samsung executives have a pegged a $200-300 price tag but the end cost will depend upon carrier subsidies. US pricing has not been disclosed and Verizon is reportedly still deciding whether to offer the Galaxy Tab at discounted, contract-based pricing.

Samsung reportedly expects to ship 10 million tablet devices next year, a 33% market share.

Other competitor for the Galaxy Android Tab is Dell's Streak which has Android V 1.6 (Donut).

One of reputed research firm Gartner had come up with its new projection which says that Android will soon catch up with Nokia's Symbian as the top global mobile operating system by 2014.

By 2014, Gartner argues that Symbian’s market share will be 30.2 percent in 2014 with Android at 29.6 percent. That’s roughly a statistical tie.

Gartner research also finds that Research in Motion(RIM) losing operating system market share with 11.7 percent share in 2014. Apple’s iOS will be No. 3 with 14.9 percent market share, roughly flat with 2009 levels.

Google says Froyo (Android V 2.2) is not right choice for Tablet PC.

We have seen many tablet PC makers are planning to launch with Pre-loaded Android 2.2 i.e., Froyo. Google says that if the Tablet PC makers want to compete with iPad than Froyo is not the right choice citing Screen Resolution issue.

Hugo Barra, director of products for mobile at Google, said to Tech Radar that "Android is an open platform. We saw at IFA 2010 all sorts of devices running Android, so it already running on tablet. But the way Android Market works is it's not going to be available on devices that don't allow applications to run correctly. Which devices do, and which don't will be unit specific, but Froyo is not optimized for use on tablets."

Right now, Android's upper limit for resolution is 854 by 480 according to documentation on the Android Developer site. There are varying screen sizes that support this resolution, but it depends on the pixel density.

Fastest 3G Android phone unveiled by T-Mobile

First in USA, T-Mobile has introduced its first "HSPA+" phone,  don't think its a modded phone............ its nothing but HTC G2, which will be available for pre-order later this month.

LR Mobile exclusively revealed that a phone supporting T-Mobile's faster 3G network upgrade was on its way back in July. T-Mobile is running a site where you can sign up for updates on the G2 now.

But however G2, won't support the maximum speeds achievable on T-Mobile's 21-Mbit/s High-Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network upgrade. The carrier says that the phone has a "theoretical peak capability" of 14.4 Mbit/s. This will translate to average download speeds in the 2 to 5 Mbit/s range.

Hugo Barra, Google’s mobile product development director told PaidContent UK the following during a briefing today,

“It could be any number of things – form factor, the limited number of pixels, does it have a GPS on it?”

“We’re concerned that users will get a good experience at the end of the day.”

“You can have Android if it leads to a good implementation. We have to make sure that every device meets the criteria for a good experience for Android Market.”

Google's Chrome Web Store is coming......

Google has a plans to open online store and its is named as Chrome Web Store.

Video game website 1up was able to grab some photographs of a presentation Google delivered to a room of game developers at the GDC Europe conference. The presentation showed off the Chrome Web Store, a marketplace for HTML5 apps Google announced during its I/O conference earlier this year.

Unlike Apple’s app store though, Google won’t be taking a 30% cut of revenues generated; in fact, it will only be taking a “processing fee” of around 5%. That could be a major draw for developers who want to keep more of the money their apps earn.

According to the presentation, the Chrome Web Store is launching in October.

Stats by Quantcast is out, Android continues its high performance.

Android's share of U.S. mobile web traffic climbed to 25% in August in its best one month gain since Nov. 2009.

Web statistics company Quantcast published the data, which tracked U.S. mobile web consumption in the month of August, on Friday. Android saw a 2% gain in mobile web market share while all other platforms lost share.

Over the past year, Apple has lost ground to Google, losing 11% of the mobile web consumption market while Google picked up 17% more market share. iOS still maintains a significant lead with 56% of the market, more than twice that of Android, but current growth trends could cause problems for Apple in the near future. If Google can maintain another year of comparable growth, Android will be nearly neck-and-neck with iOS.
