Fastest 3G Android phone unveiled by T-Mobile

First in USA, T-Mobile has introduced its first "HSPA+" phone,  don't think its a modded phone............ its nothing but HTC G2, which will be available for pre-order later this month.

LR Mobile exclusively revealed that a phone supporting T-Mobile's faster 3G network upgrade was on its way back in July. T-Mobile is running a site where you can sign up for updates on the G2 now.

But however G2, won't support the maximum speeds achievable on T-Mobile's 21-Mbit/s High-Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network upgrade. The carrier says that the phone has a "theoretical peak capability" of 14.4 Mbit/s. This will translate to average download speeds in the 2 to 5 Mbit/s range.

Which makes the G2 one of the phones with the fastest connections available in the US at present. We may see T-Mobile G2 competing with Sprint Nextel Corp. Epic and Evo WiMax phones for average download speeds.

G2 has an 800MHz Snapdragon processor, the ability to record HD video, and an onboard Flash video player. It also comes with Google Voice Action Feature.
