Custom made Android smartphone name Synapse one likely to come from germay

For the first time we gona see customizable Android phone. A small budding company from Germany called Synapse that will sell you a custom Android 2.2 handset.

With a screen size of 4.0 inch, packed with radio (3G and 4G, including LTE and WiMAX), Bluetooth, WiFi, up to a 12 MP camera, mini-HDMI out, expandable storage option and more ..............

It is said that will be priced at €434 ($600).

Android-Flash a popular combo, downloads hits shows it after all


Adobe says, Adobe Flash 10.1 had crossed a million downloads upon introduction two months(August) ago from the Android Market. This show how popular flash is with web users since may eye candid apps and games and ads are designed by flash, it had become necessary for the internet surfing devices to support flash.

Google topping forecast, income rises 32%.

Search Engine leader and leading online web advertiser Google has surpassed expectations in the third quarter, when revenue climbed 23 percent and net income rose 32 percent.

Google now bets big on mobile. “Where’s the next multibillion-dollar business after search?” said Jonathan Rosenberg, senior vice president of product management at Google, on the call. “There’s your answer. It’s display and it’s already here.” About mobile, he said, “Clearly this is the future of search and the Internet.”

Google said net income in the quarter ending Sept. 30 rose to $2.17 billion, or $6.72 cents a share, from $1.64 billion, or $5.13 a share, in the year-ago quarter. Excluding the cost of stock options and the related tax benefits, Google’s third-quarter profit was $7.64 a share. The company said revenue climbed to $7.29 billion, from $5.94 billion. Net revenue, which excludes commissions paid to advertising partners, was $5.48 billion, up from $4.38 billion a year ago.

The results beat the expectations of Wall Street analysts, and Google’s stock price rose about 9 percent in after-hours trading.

Android expands selling and buying to more countries.

With the growth of android users had made some expansions. Effective from September 30, developers from 20 more countries can now sell paid apps on Android Market. Additionally, over the next 2 weeks, users in 18 additional countries will be able to purchase paid apps from Android Market.

Support for paid application sales is now expanded to developers in 29 countries includes

T-Mobile's HTC G-2 has self repairing/recovery system.

If you are a developer and have a G-2 and like to take control over the root of your mobile to make your phone dance under your tunes, than think once again.......

Some excited rooters at the XDA Dev Forum tried to root the G2 so that they can control the software so they can add their own programs, apps but they were unsuccessful to do so because they found out that there is a built-in lock in the G2 hardware that returns the handset to the stock state upon rooting. Same like self repairing or self recovery system.

LinguaSys’ launches First private multilingual mobile chat room app named TransGen Mobile for Android


LinguaSys has launched its new app for android called TransGen Mobile, which is said to be the first multilingual private mobile chat rooms for Android.

But still BlackBerry is on top of the hill and it may soon facing fierce competition. when it comes to overall market share, the gap with iOS is shrinking. Over the last six months, 32% of shoppers bought an Android phone, 26% a BlackBerry, and 25% an iPhone. In terms of global share, RIM is holding out at 31%, iPhone OS at 28%, and Android at 19%.

Microsoft sues Motorola for infringment of nine patents in its Android phones.

Tech giant software maker Microsoft said that some of the Motorola's android smart phones uses similar tech which is based on Microsoft technology, which include synchronizing e-mail, calendars and contacts.

Microsoft filed its lawsuit in a federal court as well as filing one with the International Trade Commission.

Microsoft said Motorola licensed some of its mobile technology from 2003 to 2007 but continued to use the technology without renewing the license.

Its court filing specifically mentions the Motorola Droid 2 and the Motorola Charm smartphones, but Microsoft claims that the infringements were not limited to those devices.

Android app that lets you trace friend's pinpoint location.

"Studies have shown that 'Where are you?' is the single most commonly sent SMS," said doctoral student Matthew Kwan from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University's school of mathematical and geospatial sciences in Australia.

Techies have developed a method for embedding Global Positioning System coordinates in an SMS message.

The technique, known as geotagging, can transmit a mobile phone's position.
